So lets talk DETAILS! Those really pretty pictures of the rings, invites, the flowers and shoes, etc. Those small details and elements that you took so long to plan! I want to make sure I get those images in your gallery for you because most likely you won't be taking all of that home or you don't even get a chance in the day to actually see it all put together and appreciate how it all came out!

To my couples

I go through "3 get togethers or coffee dates" with you and this one is always my favorite! So here are some guidelines and tips I give:

-Send me (preferably) or keep an extra set of your invitations!

-I always show up extra early to get those shots of everything set with out it being touched by guest.

-In a box or bag have your "Detail" Elements" such as: Dress, Hanger, shoes, veil, hair accessories, rings, boutineers, his tie, florals.

-I always have my own "details kit" with me like: ribbons and stamps, ring boxes and trays.

-And I always ask what colors and theme you have so I bring all the right stuff!

If you are a wedding photographer

I love love love vintage stores, boutiques and thrift stores! That is where I find the best detail pieces to include to make your couples gallery extra unique. I do find things like my ribbons, material, stamps and ring boxes online though. I'll add that below. But here I went on a little trip to a local antique store to snap a few shots of things they have and stuff that I like to buy.

I am a details hoarder though. It's bad.. well good but omg haha I usually pack a small roller bag just of my "just incase" because I want it to be perfect. I have learned though that with each wedding i accumulate a little more each time and I don't find myself investing so much because I already have it.

I love taking these shots because it's a good warm up to the day! You are present with the couple, You've greeted them and started off correct. You can always see the relief when I pop in and say I have arrived so that makes me feel so good. I just tuck away start snapping and then go on with the day. Which maybe next week I'll talk about timelines but the couple and I both have a Wedding Day Timeline that we went over and finalized so you have to meet that expectation.

And in the end when I deliver those images and my couples are just in awe and can't even choose what images they want in their gallery that is a compliment x10 to me because it's all worthy of being in their album they will share for the rest of their lives with everyone they come in contact with.

Until Next Time! -Serena
